The program below was designed to provide content to support a current wellness program. The company has approximately 1,000 employees, most of which (760) are in the field and are not at HQ to take advantage of the onsite benefits such as the gym, trainers and demonstrations. They needed to supplement their current program and engage employees who were not participating in the current program.

Below are three sample packages designed to meet this client's needs based on current state, data points and goals. The timeline on this project was for one quarter. 

Package 1: Wellness Content

I designed a curriculum to target the requested areas of focus in a cadence that encourages adoptable change over time. The package included written content and weekly activities. This package included the creation of and all written content for a period of one quarter.

Written Content:

Designed to increase awareness, educate and change habits. 63 days of written educational content sent out via email which would include:

  • 50 short form daily emails consisting of quick read content that they can digest quickly
  • 13 longer form weekly emails with target content, recipes, smart swaps and activity.
    •  Longer written educational piece in rotation on the four main areas: Nutrition, Weight Management, Stress and Sleep
      • 13 weekly activities (noted below)

      • 13 weekly swap list - this instead of that

      • 13 weekly healthy recipes to try at home

The written educational content would consist of 24 posts on Nutrition, 22 on weight management, 9 on stress, 8 on sleep.

Weekly Activities:

Designed to get employees engaged whether they do these on their own or on a team, the weekly activities focus on awareness, new experiences and adoptable change.

  • 13 weekly activities to engage with focusing on the four areas provided: BMI / Weight, Nutrition, Stress, Sleep. Weekly activities for transformation would include:
    • 4 nutritional activities

      • EX. Experiment with new foods or products that would improve gut health

    • 4 weight management activities

      • EX: Additional ways to increase our activities levels

      • EX: Sugar

    • 3 stress activities

      • EX. Manage stress triggers

    • 2 sleep activities

      • EX. Device detox at night

Package 2: Content+

The Content+ package includes the Wellness Content package above PLUS additional activities and content as outlined below. 

Activities:

The following activities would be used to get an understanding of the current state of employee health and wellness as well as outside influences and impacts. These would be used to inform content and as a metric for improved health over time.

  • Health Assessments

  • Circle of Life Assessment

  • Goal Setting

Content:

  • 4 webinars - deep dive on the four areas of focus

  • Weekly Podcast - 13 episodes to support the weekly activities outlined above.

  • 15 minute meal videos - micro videos demonstrating steps for 15 min meals

  • Weekly Meal Plan for weight management - 13 week plan for weight reduction including a shopping list and modification notes.

  • Assessments offer visibility to both the employee and the program leads to customize content based on results.

  • Goal setting by individual, team or selected group encourages accountability and participation.

Package 3: Total Wellness + Onsite 

This packed included the company's choice of content package (Wellness or Content+) and onsite visits, workshops, lunch and learns, consultations and demos. The format is designed for consistency so employees know what to expect each month with varying content topics to keep it interesting. The following schedules were for one week, per month for a period of one quarter.  

Month 1: Onsite schedule and supporting activities

  • Homemade healthy snacks and take home recipe cards

  • Lunch and Learns at HQ

    • Maximizing your health and wellness program: Recommendations on how to get the most out of this quarter

    • Warm, satisfying meals in minutes

    • The truth about sugar

    • Stress - retrain your brain

  • Health Coach Consultations every day (this can also be done remotely for the field). Availability by appointment to any employee on a first come first serve basis

  • Partner with onsite trainers to coordinate events AND attend and participate in classes side by side employees

Month 2: Onsite schedule and supporting activities

  • Lunch and Learns at HQ

    • Healthy holiday sides demo

    • Ways to keep holiday weight at bay

    • Healthy desserts

    • Immunity and gut health

    • Sleep

  • Health Coach Consultations every day (this can also be done remotely for the field). Availability by appointment to any employee on a first come first serve basis

  • Partner with onsite trainers to coordinate events AND attend and participate in classes side by side employees
